KUNST/ FRUHLING 2018: ARTMUC meets Stroke Art Fair

4 days of art – 3 locations – 2 art fairs – 1 ticket.

As Munich’s two great contemporary art fairs ARTMUC and Stroke are always huge successes, the founder Raiko Schwalbe decided to push both exhibitions to a new level by creating the KUNST/FRUHLING. For the first time, the two art fairs will take place at the same time in Munich in spring 2018. Don’t miss out this great opportunity to see amazing contemporary art, meet inspiring artists and get the arty vibe at the two locations.

The Stroke was initiated almost 10 years ago in order to promote young artists and galleries. In 2018 more than 60 international artist will display their masterpieces from May 9th – May 13th at the Werksviertel Mittel close to the Munich Ostbahnhof. Check out colorful, inspirational, disturbing, provocative and bold paintings, photography, collages, illustrations, digital art and sculptures.

The headline picture features the work of deklart (Dennis Klapschus) – a young artist from Düsseldorf that we met live at the stroke. See more of his art at DEKLART

It started 2014 with a little experiment. Within only five years the ARTMUC has established itself as one of the largest and most important art events in Bavaria. This year the ARTMUC features more than 120 artists and 25 galleries from all over Europe. As the art fair got bigger each year, the exhibition will be at two locations this year: the Praterinsel as well as the Isarforum at the Deutsches Museum. See and admire diverse masterpieces from street art and urban art, to digital art and photography as well as 3D-art. Find more information on the ARTMUC homepage

What we love especially about both exhibitions is the opportunity to meet and talk to the artist and get some insights about their intentions and motivation. It’s not the anonymous visit to a snobby gallery, it’s a down-to-earth and fun art fair and drinks are also sold there 🙂
